Q: Don't we need a "local" Agent? A: No, you don't. In most major metropolitan areas, the majority of homes are sold using the latest Internet technology. Buyers come from all areas, so there is simply no need for a Listing Agent to be "local". In fact, most of the better Listing Agents cover a large market area and have listings widely scattered about. You can also list your own home with our FSBO (for sale by owner) program, with no need for a realtor commission. It is still advisable and in most states, required by law, to finalize all sales thru a “Title” or “Escrow” company.
